Our Lake George vacation

Boy did we have fun too.

First here is my Irish Hiking Scarf that I knitted going to Lake George and coming home in the car. I finished one ball. I like how it is coming out. I was a little nervous about the cable because I had never done one before but it's pretty east once you get the hang of it.

Here is Elizabeth as a "pirate" for the treasure hunt that our hotel did. The boys wanted to ride in a canoe so they did not do the treasure hunt.

Sorry this is sideways but here are all the kids ready for the Painted Pony Rodeo. We all love going to this.

Here are Nicholas and Christopher waiting for the rodeo to start.

My first Irish Hiking Scarf KAL

Hello it's me. I decided to join another KAL. It's the Irish Hikinh Scarf Knit-A-Long. I ordered my yarn at least a week ago and today when me and the kids came home there was a brown box sitting on my front porch and yup it's my yarn for the scarves. I am doing two scarves, one for Christopher's teacher in Wool of the Andes in Mist and one for Nicholas' teacher in Wool of the Andes in Snickerdoodle both I bought from Knit Picks. I plan on casting on later today or tonight so I will post a picture hopefully by the end of the week. We are leaving for Lake George on Saturday so I have some knitting for at night or in the car. I am also working on a chemo cap for my charity knitting group at church which I will probably do in thecar. I have ripped that out twice already due to dropped stiches and I am determined to get that cap done on vacation. Well until next time.

Happy Knitting.
