Happy 7th Birthday Nicholas
Happy 7th Birthday to my little guy. Seven years, wow that went fast. The first picture is of course the one they take in the hospital. The second one was taken a couple of weeks ago at a Bridgeport Bluefish game. Alls he wanted was to eat those peanuts and my mother game each of the kids $5 to get a treat, Nicholas picked peanuts. So I took a picture of him for her. Happy Birthday honey, mommy loves you. You're getting so big. Seems like yesterday you were born, I know everyone says that but it is so true.

The last couple of months
The last I left you was April 1st and then we had Easter

Then in May we have a couple of events, my cousin Jen came up with her mom (Aunt Pat) from Georgia (Aunt Pat lives in FL) for her nieces 1st communion so they spent Friday with us and then Saturday night after the communion me and Jen went out for dinner, just the two of us. I really enjoyed it

Michael made some lures out of real eel skin. Here is Elizabeth showing us them.

Christopher also got hit in the mouth with a baseball at one of his games. Ouch!

Is it too early to decide on what to knit for Christmas
Ok I want to start my Christmas knitting for my children's teachers. I now will have four things to knit this year as Elizabeth will be starting preschool in the fall. So I have Christopher's teacher (whom we do not know who yet because some 4th grade teachers retired), Nicholas who's teacher is Mrs. Cook and Elizabeth will have a teacher (whom we don't know yet) and she will likely have an aide. So that's four. If they are all women I would like to do dishcloths again this year and then I will put kitchen handsoap and hand lotion like I did two years ago. If Christopher has a male teacher then maybe he can get a scarf. So that's my plan. Thanks for helping me with that decision, now I just need more cotton and I need to see what patterns I will be doing. I think I will make the DW cloth (actually two of them per teacher), it's fairly easy.
